Acupuncture Pricing

We make acupuncture as affordable as we can by offering sliding scale pricing to everyone, everyday.  You decide what you pay within the sliding scale, no questions asked.  Please consider how often you need to be treated and pay what works for your budget. (When paying by credit or debit card please consider adding $1 to help offset processing fees.  Thank you!).

  • Acupuncture First Visit (New Patient): $40-50
  • Acupuncture Follow-Up (Returning Patient): $25-50
  • Acupuncture With Re-Evaluation (Returning Patient, Includes Private Consultation): $40-50

Chinese Herbal Medicine Telehealth & Refills

Please email info@acupuncturetogether.com to request a Chinese herbal medicine telehealth consultation (this appointment type cannot be booked online) or to request a refill.  A consultation and consultation fee is NOT needed for a refill unless your health has changed and you are seeking herbs for a new health condition.  Pick up your herbs from our front desk at Acupuncture Together.

  • Chinese Herbal Medicine Telehealth Consultation (Returning Patient): $20 plus the price of herbs, typically $10-17

Cancellation/Rescheduling Policy, Missed Appointments & Sick Patient Policy – Please Read Carefully:

WE REQUIRE 3 HOURS NOTICE IF YOU NEED TO CANCEL OR RESCHEDULE AN APPOINTMENT TO A LATER TIME OR LATER DATE.  If you miss an appointment or cancel or reschedule it to a later time or later date with less than 3 hours notice, then you will need to pay $25 before your next appointment.  If you have a package of appointments we will deduct one of your pre-paid visits from that package instead of charging you $25.

IF YOU ARE FEELING SICK OR EXPERIENCING ANY COVID-19 SYMPTOMS PLEASE CANCEL YOUR APPOINTMENT ASAP.  We will not treat anyone who is sick or experiencing Covid-19 symptoms at our facility!

Health Insurance

The great news for everyone is that our prices are comparable to the cost of an insurance co-pay!  We do not bill health insurance companies directly, nor do we know whether or not your plan will cover any acupuncture; if you want to know whether your plan covers acupuncture, please call your insurance company.  Payment is due directly to us at the time of each visit.  If your insurance plan covers acupuncture, we can provide you with a payment receipt and billing code to submit to your insurance company for reimbursement.  We can also offer you a “Superbill” list of treatments and payments.  Superbills cost $5 and take 1 week to process.

Gift Certificates

Gift certificates are available year-round in any amount!  To purchase a gift certificate may call us at 617-499-9993 to pay by phone and have us mail it to you or to your loved one directly.
