HELP INCREASE ACCESS TO EAR ACUPUNCTURE FOR ADDICTION RECOVERY AND TRAUMA IN MA!
Please support “An Act Relative to Acupuncture Detoxification Specialists”: Senate Bill S1336 / House Bill H1880
Background: The ear acupuncture NADA protocol is a useful tool that can be helpful for the opioid crisis, other substance abuse disorders, PTSD (post traumatic stress disorder) and mental health conditions. MA acupuncturists, nurses and professionals who are active in the opioid crisis and addiction recovery are proposing a bill to allow licensed health, behavioral and addiction professionals in Massachusetts to practice a simple ear acupuncture protocol that has been shown to help with addiction and trauma. The purpose of our bill is to increase access to this effective and safe treatment. Many states have already passed similar bills to expand access.
